About me
Originally a musician, I started out playing electric guitar or drums in bands and studying classical guitar in Novi Sad, Serbia. A growing interest in visual media led me to relocate to Switzerland, where I pursued cinema studies and later specialized in film sound at HEAD – Geneva and ECAL – Lausanne.
After gaining initial experience in location sound recording, I transitioned to post-production and now work as a re-recording mixer and sound designer at Masé Studios in Geneva (the only Dolby Atmos Theater certified facility in the country, also equipped with a large foley stage with modulable acoustics). My contributions to features, documentaries, TV series, and short films have screened internationally at festivals such as Cannes, Venice, Locarno, IFFR, IDFA, SXSW, BFI, Series Mania, Visions du Réel, and Clermont-Ferrand. You can view my full filmography [here].
In parallel with my studio work, I coordinate the Film Sound specialization and the Audio-Visual Center at HEAD – Geneva, and I lecture on cinematic techniques for postgraduate students at EPFL. This year, I served as a consultant and mentor on sound design at the Festival de Cannes “Cinéma de demain SFC | Rendez-vous Industry“.
My work also explores the intersection of sound design and music through sound pieces created in collaboration with RTS (Swiss Radio Television), music editing for film, and original composition.
I am a member of SSFV, Swiss Film Academy, SUISA, SOKOJ, and an associate member of the AES.
